Protection, women & gender

Safety and dignity come first.

The dignity of women and girls is a priority in everything RCO does.

How we help

We run Women Friendly Spaces in Bor and Akobo, where women gather safely, learn skills and support one another. In the community, our outreach teams talk openly about gender-based violence so people know where to turn for help.

RCO also runs mine risk education sessions for school children, and supported the handover of a Special Protection Unit in Bor.
